Before this starts: I did not say it was safer. I said it was neater.
You said elegant.
It is possible for something to be elegant without becoming medical advice, Gaz.
Good. We have achieved one distinction already.
I only asked what the extra bit was called.
That was your first mistake.
AAI link is below. Read the part about the abnormal loading case, not just the photographs.
And if anyone is changing how they tie in because of this thread, don't. Ask your instructor to show you the exact configuration first.
Yosemite has some very good problems.
Of course you have arrived.
I thought we were finally discussing somewhere I know.
Factual note is in the library. Please use the actual sources rather than quoting one another.
For the record, I have never quoted Gaz.
You have screenshotted me.
For evidential purposes.
Also, Yosemite finish on a figure eight and Yosemite bowline are separate discussions.
I regret asking.
That is healthy progress.
Tea?
Finally a sensible proposal.
So what are we calling the extra bit?
Tomorrow.
